With this car Conijn undertakes a journey through several countries in Eastern Europe, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ungary, Romania, Moldavia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania. There is no preset destination. The artist travels towards the unknown. The main plan is to make a film about the unexpected incited by the wood car. I saw at the Joan Miró Fundation only that part from Romania. I doubt that it made better friends somewhere else. It is wasn’t about the car and the wood, it was about the romanians, Joost:)
